MEET THE TEAM
The people behind the scenes
Caroline Meehan – Founding Director
Caroline Meehan is the passionate Founder of Heartfelt Homes who had the small idea to provide accommodation for those receiving hospital treatment far away from home as she lived through her own family’s nightmare in 2013. Originally hailing from Leeds in the UK, Caroline has made Australia her home and has grown Heartfelt Homes into something she lives and breathes for.
A devoted mum to her small kids Kitty and Banjo, and loving partner to Andy, family is at the heart of everything Caroline does both at home, and at work. Read Caroline’s story here.
Fiona MacAnally – Managing Director.
Fiona joined the Heartfelt Homes team in 2017 to implement and deliver structured fundraising programs and oversee day-to-day operations. With a background in professional fundraising that spans over ten years, Fiona is passionate about grassroots charities that are making a difference. She uses her philanthropic experience to design programs which honour a commitment of responsibility to use every dollar in a way that the donor will be satisfied with while getting the best results for the organisation and the wider community.
Jo Robinson – Wordsmith and volunteer support case worker.
Jo provides all written content – both on and offline – and coordinates the communications strategy across donors and the families that Heartfelt Homes assists. With a varied background in professional fundraising, copywriting, and police forensics, Jo is a ‘people person’ whose wide range of experience helps across many areas of the organisation, including stepping in as a volunteer case worker when needed.
