I have metastatic breast cancer in my liver….

I have metastatic breast cancer in my liver and was participating in a trail study at Westmead hospital.

The challenges I face are finding somewhere to stay nearby, where I can sustain the cost as I had to be there for at least 1 night every three weeks for possibly up to 2 years. I wanted something comfortable as this was going to become like my home away from home, I also needed something that would accommodate more than just my carer as sometimes I would also have my 2 little girls with me while I was going through treatments.

I heard of Heartfelt Homes through my trial co-ordinator at Westmead Hospital.

Wesely lodge is fantastic. The staff on all levels (cleaners to administration) are friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. It is close to a good range and variety of take away food places, and just a hop skip and a jump from the hospital.

Heartfelt Homes service is essential as it takes away so much stress at a very stressful time. Dealing with Heartfelt homes has been so easy. Caroline has been so supportive and understanding. Very Quick to get onto any request and unexpected increase in stay.

I was part of Caroline’s first sponsored room opening with Brydens Lawyers at Wesley Lodge and have been busy at every opportunity to get Heartfelt Homes into the wider community of my fellow breast cancer fighters, I would and already have recommended Heartfelt Homes.

I am happy for my story to be known as I feel Caroline and Heartfelt Homes have done so much for me. I can not give back financially but would love to give back in any and all other ways, so others can get support and become supporters of this wonderful charity.

You do a fantastic service which is down to earth and based on a real need and real experience of hardship which gives Heartfelt Homes the compassion needed at difficult times.

Thank you all so much for your help, especially Caroline who has become a great friend through our shared experiences.

Thanks to Brydens Lawyers too, it was a pleasure meeting such a caring company and I know they are very generous in supporting Caroline and Heartfelt Homes.

Heartfelt Thanks, Caroline.IMG_87299.jp
